I had a very productive session with the CCCT guys (Chad, Chad, Chris, Troy). Chad L rerecorded the drums to “Blame It On Me” and “Bad Days”. We had attempted both, but we a better performance, better mic placement, more mics, etc. we had better results this time. Chad put down a few takes of each and is working narrowing down the best takes, and EQing things.
Chad Paxton brought over an 8-input audio interface and we synched it up with the 8 ins we already had, so that added some more breathing room. Mainly it added another drum track, and now we can record multiple live/scratch tracks will tracking drums.
I am working on bass and vocals for Bad Days, and then we will get Chad P and Chris to throw down their parts. I can’t wait for the final results.
