I fished with a two-tone green curly tail plastic worm. I wasn’t getting any action, so I put a bluegill line out with a Gulp Minnow under a bobber. I had quite a few bites on that line, but only landed one bluegill.
I went back to the plastic worm and caught a small bass.

It was really slow for the next 45 min or so, but then I started getting a lot of hits, that felt like Bluegill. They were aggressive bumps, but mostly didn’t feel much resistance when I tried to set the hook. One of those times I actually saw the bluegill come off of the worm, which was kind of cool. I then landed one, it was a Goggle-Eye (Rock Bass/Warmouth). This is a very cool fish. It’s small like a Bluegill, but with a large mouth like A bass.

I caught a couple of more bass, then I caught a Green Sunfish, which is another interesting fish. It’s in the Sunfish family like Bluegill and Google-Eye. It also has a larger mouth than a Bluegill, which was why I was able to catch it, and the Google-Eye, on a large lure with a large hook.
